Update

Sorry about the lack of posts lately - things got busy in the lead up to Christmas as usual.  So here's a few things we've been up to in the last 2 months.

We managed to get a photo of Bethany with her 2 missing teeth, and Jamieson when he only had 2 teeth!
We saw the Queen when she visited Melbourne - Bethany had a day off school and we waited for ages to see Her Majesty go past us in the special tram.  Here she is waving to us through the window!
We had some family photos taken - we got a great price through Bethany's kinder (pre-school) from last year.  The family photo was free, and we'd intended to buy the photo of the 2 kids together, but when we saw Jamieson's photo we thought it was too cute to pass up, so we bought that too!

Bethany had her ballet concerts - she had to perform 3 times this year!  She did very well, and loved wearing her pink tutu.  Deb has become very proficient at putting her hair into a bun now, after struggling with this at the start of the year.
Bethany has finished her first year of school!  It's hard to believe it's over already.  She has loved this year at school and has done very well, especially with her reading and writing which is well above the expected level.

And then it was Christmas already!  Jamieson had his first Christmas, although didn't know what all the fuss was about.  He wasn't really interested in ripping off the paper either, although was happy enough to eat the paper afterwards!  He loves his new foam blocks, and knocking over towers of blocks over and over again.

We had Christmas lunch at a park (it was a warm day) and timed it nicely - we had just left when the storm hit, with pouring rain, hail (although not where we were) and at home we even had a blackout at dinner time (thank goodness for gas stoves!).  Here are our kids with their cousin Lizzie - for some funnier photos of the 3 of them, see Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150447885867944.357831.670722943&type=1&l=357508127c
