Ballet

Bethany had her first ballet exam last week, for which she had her hair all done with lots of mousse and hairspray! But also a pretty pink ribbon. She did very well and the teachers did well getting them excited beforehand so they had no time to be nervous!

Jamieson is getting the hang of tummy time a bit more and can now raise his head and chest off the floor a lot better.

He hasn't rolled over yet (probably because he doesn't spend much time on his tummy!) but often rolls onto his side from his back. He had his immunisations yesterday so isn't too happy today :(

And to finish off, here's a funny story about Bethany (for those who haven't read it already on Facebook):

Bethany learned about 'grace' at church (explained as "getting something great that you don't deserve") & here's her interpretation: While shopping with Jerome, she saw a colouring book she liked and asked Jerome to buy it for her. Jerome said "No, you don't deserve it" (she'd been misbehaving all day and knew it!) and she promptly replied "Well you should show me grace and buy it for me because I don't deserve it!" When this didn't work, she came home and complained to me that "Daddy needs to work on his virtues"! Gotta love kids' application of the teaching!!!
